Meet Our Team
Miss Yemi & Miss Lorraine
Our school is run by Miss Lorraine A.I.D.T.A and Miss Yemi BA HONS Who both have over 25 years dance teaching experience.
Miss Lorraine and Miss Yemi are The teachers and Dance School Owners. They are sisters who danced together for many years as children before wanting to spread their love of dance in the community. They joined their local dance school, in the 1980's, and found a love of dance. Dance gave them ambition and the inspiration to open their own school and spread the same love of dance to others.
With IDTA teaching qualifications, Brit school education, they moved into dance teaching.
Over the years they have built their teaching experience thorough a selection of teaching roles, opportunities and experiences in dance schools, Nursery schools, After school clubs, Secondary schools and specialist school teaching, they have sucessfully run Yelo for 25 years.
Miss Lorraine have dedicated their lives to teaching and have trained many dancers over the years who have sucessfully passed IDTA dance exams. Over 25 years their school holds a 100% pass rate with fantastic marks acheived.
Most importantly, they continue to provide a safe, warm, friendly, inclusive space for children to enjoy exploring dance.
